How electr0motiv works
Converting a car to electric is a data problem.
Swapping a gasoline engine for a motor is the easy part. The hard part is the knowledge: thousands of scattered forum posts, battery trade-offs and wiring schematics. electr0motiv organizes all of it into electr0motiv intelligence (EI), then puts EI to work through free tools, an AI coach and a community of builders.
Just curious? Start with the free tools. Ready for a project? Build Mode has you covered.

02 — Architecture
Six workbenches, one master parts catalog.
electr0motiv isn't one giant app. It's one platform behind six apps, all reading from the same database. Select an app to see what it does.
+ Always-on AI services
+ Secure, role-based access
Three conventions keep it in sync
Single source of truth
Every app talks to the same database. Access is controlled per user, so nothing gets copied into separate silos.
One shared language
Every piece of knowledge is encoded the same way, so any app can search and build on what the others know.
Always-on AI services
Lightweight services handle AI coaching, evidence lookup and abuse protection, so the apps stay fast.
03 — The DynaMine pipeline
A hundred builders, a hundred scattered answers.
DynaMine is the research engine behind EI. It reads publicly available videos, articles and forum threads, then processes, enriches and indexes them so the knowledge is easy to find and use. Step through each stage.
04 — Coach
Not a search box. An engineering roundtable.
A typical AI chatbot grabs a few matching snippets and writes an answer around them. Coach checks up to 16 intelligence sources in EI before it answers. Switch modes, then pick a question.

Illustrative demo. Real Coach answers are tailored to your vehicle, budget and stage.
Anticipation
Coach knows where builds at your stage tend to stall, so it can answer the question you'll have next.
Honest negatives
When no documented pairing exists, Coach says so and reasons from first principles. It won't make up adapters or firmware settings.
05 — Buildwright
From research to wrenches.
When a builder is ready to start, they move into Buildwright, the project workspace inside the Guild. It turns advice into a structured plan to work through.
Wizard → Coach plan
The builder answers a few questions about their vehicle, budget, skills and timeline.
Plan → project
The plan becomes a project with 8 phases and starter tasks.

06 — The flywheel
Every build makes the next one smarter.
electr0motiv isn't a static library. As more builders document their work, EI grows and Coach gets sharper, so the next builder starts further ahead. Select a step, or let it turn.
Today, EI is built from publicly available sources. Guild members' own builds live in Buildwright and on the Build Board, where other members can learn from them directly.
07 — Summary
Six apps, one shared database, a research pipeline and a coach that checks up to 16 sources, all working to turn scattered knowledge into grounded guidance.
